In more than 35 operating rooms and functional rooms, the staff of the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care provide care for patients requiring general anesthesia, regional anesthesia or anesthesiological stand-by. State-of-the-art anesthesia equipment is predominantly used for this purpose. Vital signs are monitored in the majority of the anesthesia workstations, in the recovery rooms and in our intensive care units by monitors from the same manufacturer. The uniform equipment avoids time losses and monitoring gaps when patients are transferred between different units.
