We care for the patients of the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in two operating rooms with modern equipment. We perform general anesthesia procedures using oral, nasotracheal, or submental intubation as needed with the highest level of airway safety.
The focus here is on patients with craniofacial dysmorphia. This also includes the supraregional care of congenital malformations such as cleft lip and palate in childhood.
The further treatment spectrum includes tumor surgery with its advanced plastic-reconstructive operations and the wide range of facial traumatology resulting from injuries in the facial region.
In 2015, approx.950 general anesthesias were performed.
Postoperative care of patients in our intensive care unit is possible if required. We make every effort to provide adequate and individualized postoperative pain therapy.
